Well Hello to you all and may the Lord bless and keep you. We are off to a great team season,  hosting 2 teams in June and 3 in July. With the first team in June we built 2 houses at the first home, the team from Hope city church Kentucky, they were shocked by the level of poverty that Doňa Mari was living in, but even more shocked by the quality of Joy she had and the thankfulness and appreciation she had for us helping. More than anything her joy came from the One she belonged to.

” THOUGH THE FIG TREE SHOULD NOT BLOSSOM, NOR FRUIT BE ON THE VINES… YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD; I WILL TAKE JOY IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION ”   HABAKKUK  3:17-18

I think every person on that team left with the same realization: sometimes those who appear to have the least have the most to teach us about trusting the Lord.

Every person in these stories has been impacted because you chose to walk this journey with us. Whether you’ve prayed, given, or served on a team, these stories belong to all of us. God has called us together to this work, and it is a joy to watch Him weave our lives together for His glory.

Thank you for walking this journey with us. Every home we build points to a greater hope – the hope we have is in Jesus.

Then we had another team that came from Lawn Texas. There was this couple who joined in the team who grew up in Guatemala but had not been back in many years, although he attends a different church. Someone from one of our partner churches mentioned the mission trip to him. As soon as he heard about it, God began stirring his heart. He knew he wanted to come. There was just now problem– he didn’t have the money for the trip.

THEN GOD DID WHAT ONLY HE CAN DO.

In less than 24 hours, every dollar needed for not only his trip, and his wife’s as well had been provided.

I never get tired of watching the Lord do things like this. When He calls us to something, He is faithful to provide what we need.

As it turns out, he is a carpentry teacher. While the team was here building homes, he was also able to spend time in vocational trade school in one of the nearby villages, encouraging students and sharing his skills with future carpenters God knew exactly why He wanted him here.

” THE ONE WHO CALLES YOU IS FAITHFUL AND HE WILL DO IT”  1 Thessalonians 5:24

Then in the first part of July we had FBC Snyder come back. It’s so refreshing to have our home town church come and work with us. We  built 2 houses gave out food bags, had a birthday party at the special needs orphanage, helped feed the kiddos at Campos de Sueňos, learned how to make tortillas. That team brought gifts for every child and adult at the feeding center. Most of the time the adults are simply overlooked. It really made them feel loved.

We are honored to be here to be used of the Lord. Thank you all for your prayerful support. Blessings to you all.
