Well hello and blessings to you all. Wow we have had a wonderful team season this year and it’s not done yet.

We, with the help of the Lord and visiting teams, have been able to get people up off of dirt floors and onto a concrete floor. We’ve been able to give them a stove to cook on so that they don’t have to breath smoke in their homes. They now have a way to  make drinking water safe. They have a roof that doesn’t leak rain water on them.  It’s truly an honor to do these things with short term mission teams, to be able to share the love of Jesus with both the families receiving the homes and the people who come to make it all happen. We were also able to host a team and do medical clinics in places that needed that kind of help and we had some teams that made sidewalks for a special needs orphanage so now those girls can go outside in their wheel chairs.

We are not done yet, we still have a team coming in October and we have a group of men who will be doing some work at that special needs orphanage. They too will be here in October. It’s called Treasures of God orphanage.

I have been able to drill 4 good water wells this year and I’m working on the 5th, but it’s giving me some problems. It’s going to be a deep well, water is at about 460′ deep and its sandy conditions and we have already had some caving problems. So I’m going to have to use the cable tool rig and drive casing down.

We wanted to tell you all that we are about to celebrate being in Guatemala 20 years, seems like we got here just yesterday. Time sure flies when you are having fun, but we are going to start turning over this ministry to Vinicio and Karry Lopez. They have the same heart we do for helping the people here. We want to spend more time in the states with our kids, grandkids, and friends there. We will be coming back to be with teams some and help with water wells. I have been training 2 young men on well drilling so that ministry can carry on.

We will be coming to the states in October to go to a wedding and Georgette is going to have cataract surgeries. Please be praying for her.
