Happy Fall from Guatemala! Our rainy season is fixing to be over as you usher in Fall. We pray it will be a beautiful transition into the Holiday seasons with cooler temperatures, moisture. As the fall season begins there, our season for teams is winding down. We would like to say ” God Bless You” to every team member that came to minister here with us this year. It was a sincere blessing to have each and every one of you. We absolutely could not do what we do here without you, so Thank You.
The end of August we were blessed to have some friends from Florida come and stay with us,Pastor Harold Hanks and Shanna Guyer. Shanna is a missionary in Nicaragua. Pastor Hanks has been coming to Guatemala for 20 years. They came ahead of the rest of the team. Brad Stidham brought 18 men, half of them Pastors, and they built 5 houses, installed 7 stoves, gave food bags, and served at the dump ground in Esquintla. Those men were only here for a short period of time and got a HUGE amount accomplished!
Jerry and Temi Webb were here and did some amazing ministry in San Cristobal El Alto and Santa Maria De Jesus. They served hot dogs to the people living in and around the dump in Esquintla and they had another hot dog cook-out, showed The Passion of the Christ movie and there was a praise and worship team also in San Cristobal El Alto. They brought Raymond Nichols and Michael Loper with them.
Prayer Requests are : finishing water project in Esquintla, long hot process, safety for Bob, Gary and Obed as they work in the heat. Join us in praise for all the funding coming in for us to build Nelly’s house. As this ministry continues to grow, please pray for wisdom and God’s guidance for us.
