Greetings from Texas, We are in Snyder Texas right now and will be heading back to Guatemala in just a couple of days. While here this time we went and built a church in Kentucky and have been having a wonderful time with family and friends in Texas.
We really enjoyed Kentucky with our grandson Jude, We got the church built and then some. Took this project farther along than some of the others. Hung sheetrock, most all electrical in and all doors and windows in place. Took a nice trip back to Texas via Nashville and stopped in to visit the Grand ole Opry.
When we return we will have a team of five folks from Snyder with us. While there we plan to build a house, put in stoves, hand out some food, play with kids, visit Casa Shalom orphanage, and just see how the Lord works in these peoples lives. It will be a pleasure to have Mary Ann Wright, Sydney Wright, Avery Wright, Allison Downing, and Austin Forbes coming down to help minister to the people of Guatemala.
While we were here in Snyder this summer my parents, brother, sister, niece and her husband, my nephew and his wife and two children, and few others all took a trip to Hawaii for their vacation. They all had a great time, and happy they could do it. Georgette and I stayed here to watch the animals. Well Mom had a really bad low blood sugar spell and had to go to the emergency room there, Praise God she is OK. Then when they got home My Dad had a heart attack, not a very large one but still it was a heart attack. They took him to Lubbock hospital, where they put in three stents. He is Ok and now home resting Praise God for that too. Thank you all for praying for them.
So for the prayer request please keep praying for my parents health, for the teams that will be coming soon for safety for them all. Join us in giving praise for all He has done.
