Greetings from, Texas, Yes that is right we are still in Texas although not for much longer. We came to Texas July the 14th. then drove to Louisiana for Church Builders which by the way was great as usual. Then came back to Snyder for about 5 weeks. We are going back to Guatemala on Sept. the 1st.
We are so happy for the people of Grand Cane, Louisiana and we are proud to get to be a part of Church Builders. It is really a mission field too.
After we got back to Snyder we have been staying with our girls, and my parents and playing with the grandchildren, we got to go to Rock the Desert near Midland, Texas. That was a lot of fun. It is truly awesome to see about 20,000 people worshiping God all at the same time.
Then also while here, I have been working to try to earn enough money to get airline tickets so we can return for Christmas this year. I have been the maintenance guy at First Baptist Church, and I have done some welding jobs too, so it looks like, Lord willing we will be back for Christmas.
Another great thing that we have had the joy of doing while here is go riding Motorcycles with some great friends. One Sunday after Church about Nine of us got together and just rode around out in the country. Wow it had been along time since I have been able to do that. Thanks Johnny Barrows for letting Georgette and I ride your bike.
We have also been asked to talk at some Churches, Have already talked at Union Baptist Church, and will be talking at First Baptist on the morning of the 23rd. Praise God for all things.
