Hello from Texas/ Montana,
We came to Texas around mid May and are going to be going to Missoula, Montana to build a church with the Baptist church builders of Texas.
While here in Texas we have had the wonderful opportunity to visit with some churches and teams that will be coming to Guatemala soon. We had a very nice dinner meal with a group from Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, Abilene, Texas. They will be coming in Late July. We went and visited Union Baptist church, and had a great lunch with Clifton Griffith and his family. Then also we went to church at Calvary Baptist Church. We Love spending time with the people who help make this ministry what it is.
We have been visiting with lots of other people who want to make plans to come to Guatemala with teams in the future and that is great news. We feel it is just another way that God is growing this ministry.
We are also pleased to tell you all that we have been able to buy the property that we had been looking to purchase so we can make a storage house for ability to have a stock of houses and stoves for installation. This is a true blessing for the future of the ministry. Thank you all for helping to make that possible. We still have a lot of work to do on it. We will take down all this wood stuff and put up metal sides on the building, then we need to build a dividing wall to the property on the left. Then we will need to build some better gates at some point.
Serving the Lord by living in and working with the people of Guatemala is the greatest thing we have ever done. It is pure Joy for Georgette and myself. In God’s word it says in 1st Corinthians 10:31 “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. That is what we feel we do every day there.
The prayer request for this month are, Please be in prayer for us and all the other church builder people who are on their way to Missoula, Montana. Please pray for the witness that we will have for the people of that community. We will be having a lot of teams from late June, July and August, so please pray to them and us too.
